Part of my UXWritingHub course was to complete a series of common UX Writing practices as one whole digital project. I thought it was a unique way of getting UX writers some experience as a cohesive unit rather than a series of one-off “writing exercises”.
First, we have the sign-up screens for a website, “PetPals”, that allows people with pets and potential carers to interact. I began with a low-fidelity model to flesh out what all should be included.

Once I had my low-fidelity models, I created medium-fidelity mock-ups in Figma. At this point, I also added a completion page where the user is recognized for having completed the sign-up process and can start browsing potential carers.
After this step, I would check in and continue collaborating with the UX design team to ensure the brand voice is consistent and in line with what our stakeholders envisioned.
